FC Barcelona can be LaLiga champion this Sunday if it beats Real Madrid at Spotify Camp Nou. The whites arrive 11 points behind with the mission of spoiling the eternal rival's party.

Barcelona is just one point away from being the LaLiga champion in 2025/26. Hansi Flick's team aims to clinch the domestic league title on Sunday at Spotify Camp Nou, and if confirmed, it would do so, for the first time, in a match against Real Madrid.

It could become a historic Clasico. The Catalans are ready for the party: they have won all their home matches this season. 17 matches, 17 wins. Expectations are at an all-time high, and so is the desire to celebrate.

Barcelona hosts Real Madrid on Sunday at Spotify Camp Nou. The white team has not visited the renovated Catalan stadium since March 19, 2023, in the matchday 26 fixture. The Catalans, coached by Xavi, won 2-1.

This matchday, El Clasico returns to the Camp Nou, and the Catalans are confident of a victory that would allow them to win the championship in a match against their biggest rival, who sits second in the table: 11 points behind. Catalan optimism is backed by the statistics: they have won all their home matches. They are, in fact, the only team in LaLiga to have done so.

Barcelona has already hosted 17 opponents this season. They have done so at three different stadiums and have emerged victorious in every setting. The Estadi Johan Cruyff hosted matches against Valencia and Getafe.

The Olympic Stadium in Montjuic hosted matches against Real Sociedad, Girona, and Elche, and Spotify Camp Nou hosted matches against Athletic, Alaves, Atletico, Osasuna, Oviedo, Mallorca, Levante, Villarreal, Sevilla, Rayo, Espanyol, and Celta.

In these 17 matches, Barcelona scored 52 goals and conceded only nine. They are the only team in LaLiga that has won all its home matches and the one with the best offensive and defensive records. Their dominance has been absolute.

Barcelona, which has not lost to the white team in the regular domestic league at home since October 2023 (at the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic), has more reasons to believe that this matchday's Clasico will be historic and will give them the title: they already won a trophy this season against the whites — it was in the Spanish Super Cup final played in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, Arbeloa's squad has lost three matches and drawn four in their 17 away trips this LaLiga season.

All Clasicos are charged with emotion and competitiveness, but this one could be legendary: it is the first time the Catalans can mathematically become champions against their great rival. And in front of their own fans. The excitement among the Barcelona faithful and the locker room is at its peak. Everything is ready for the clash against Real Madrid to end in a historic party at Spotify Camp Nou.
