According to recent reports in the media on Thursday (the 8th of October 2026), Real Madrid's Brazilian youngster Endrick has given the green light for a Serie A side to sign him in January.

Although it is still relatively early days, it is proving to be yet another difficult season for Real Madrid forward Endrick.

Despite Jose Mourinho's side having played eight games across all competitions - seven in La Liga and one in the UEFA Champions League - the forward has featured in just 10 minutes of the season so far, in one cameo appearance in the dramatic 3-2 win at Elche.

Without wanting to sound too harsh, it is hard to know exactly what he was expecting. In the summer, Real Madrid moved to sign Carlos Espi, the U23 La Liga Player of the Season from Levante, as well make a club record signing by bringing in Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig in the two positions he can play (striker and right wing).

Well, it appears as if the penny has finally dropped for Endrick. Indeed so, as French outlet Foot Mercato are reporting that the forward has given the green light to Serie A side AC Milan, who are one of various clubs trying to sign him on loan in the January transfer window.

Last season, we saw him move to Ligue 1 side Lyon in the winter transfer window, which proved to be a very fruitful move indeed. Across 24 games in all competitions, he scored eight goals and provided eight assists, and did enough to get himself back into the Brazil national team picture, first in the March international break but then also for the FIFA World Cup in North America.

Interestingly, they mention that Endrick's agency, Roc Nation, have an "excellent relationship" with Milan owner Gerry Cardinale, so perhaps that is something that could play into their favour.

So, that shows what a productive loan spell can do. However, to play devil's advocate, it shows that it does not really do much to improve his situation at Real Madrid. He had a very good time of it at Lyon, and yet his game time back in the Spanish capital has not improved. So, would history just repeat itself even with a good time at Milan?

The current manager of Milan is Ruben Amorim, who is known for playing with a 343 formation. Portugal striker Goncalo Ramos is currently leading the line there, and given the outlay spent on his services, it is hard to imagine him on the bench that often.

However, that right sided number ten role behind the striker could perfectly suit Endrick, who as touched on earlier, can and has played both as a number nine and off the right wing in his career. That right sided 10 role is the perfect hybrid of that. It is also a role he did play in at times when playing for Palmerias in Brazil. So it could certainly be an interesting move.
