Real Madrid have reportedly entered the race to sign FC Barcelona star Ferran Torres this summer.
According to a report by L'Equipe via SPORT.es, Real Madrid have expressed an interest in acquiring the services of Barcelona forward Ferran Torres following his World Cup final exploits. The former Manchester City man has gained instant value in the transfer market after he scored the extra-time decider for Spain in the World Cup final to help them lift the cup over Argentina.
Paris Saint-Germain have been monitoring the 26-year-old for a long time now and they could finally decide on going for him in the coming days after his clutch performance, which led to Spain's second star on their crest.
The French newspaper, however, puts PSG in pole position to get Torres' signature as they need to fill up the space left by Goncalo Ramos, who was sold to AC Milan in a 60 million euros transfer deal recently.
