Luis Figo says the Real Madrid locker room fight between Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde is not normal, but will not be the first or the last.

Real Madrid continues to be talked about because of the problems and bad stretches it has been facing, and now the club's former Portuguese footballer, Luis Figo, came out to speak to calm the waters.

For many, it has been a surprise to see how every week, something different happens with Real Madrid.

The club has faced criticism both as a club and individually for players, including fights among players and, above all, in the dressing room.

This Friday, in an official statement, the club announced that two of its footballers, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde, were fined after a fight broke out between them, which resulted in Valverde ending up in the hospital.

The statement reads that, after what happened, both players have acknowledged to the case instructor and are repentant of their behavior, so they apologized to each other, in addition to apologizing to the club, teammates, coaching staff, and fans.

"Given such circumstances, Real Madrid has resolved to impose a financial sanction of five hundred thousand euros on each player, thus concluding the corresponding internal procedures," the statement read.

After a series of discussions broke out about the dressing room problems following this incident, Luis Figo, who attended a Duracell and LaLiga event this Friday, shared his thoughts on the matter.

Figo knows well how the Real Madrid locker room works, so he said that he does not find it strange that this problem happened, but that he also does not see it as very logical.

"It is not normal what is happening in Real Madrid's locker room, but it will not be the first or the last in a locker room," he opined.

The Portuguese continued explaining why these types of fights can arise, because the reality is that although it should not happen that way, frustration and the moment sometimes lead you to have attitudes that are not normal.

"Managing 30 people is not easy, and there are times when you commit actions that you should not," Figo argued.

Although he insisted that it had happened before, it should not happen. In his own words, it is something he has lived through, which is why he affirms that this fight was neither the first nor the last to happen in Real Madrid's locker room.
