Real Madrid offers Eduardo Camavinga to Manchester City as Jose Mourinho approves summer exit.
With the arrival of the summer transfer window also comes departures for Real Madrid, and the one most pointed to for a farewell is the defensive central midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga.
Although nothing is confirmed yet, Camavinga's departure is among the most speculated-about this summer transfer market, especially in the last few hours.
It had been rumored that big teams like PSG and Inter Milan had him as a candidate for the summer transfer market, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
And now, the new Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho, apparently has no problem with the Frenchman finding prominence within another club, as his performance has not fully convinced him.
On Wednesday, MARCA reported that Manchester City has received a special offer from Real Madrid, which Mourinho has approved, to focus on purchasing another player for the squad.
The midfielder enjoys a good level that could be appreciated by a Premier League club. Although he has not performed at the level he did in his prime in 2023, he still has the versatility to adapt to different environments, making him an ideal player for City.
However, journalist Fabrizio Romano has said that the Frenchman does not wish to leave Real Madrid, as he wants to stay and prove that he can fight for that starting spot.
Relegated to less prominent roles, Camavinga has suffered to withstand the criticism after his poor performance last season, but even so, he has told his agent not to listen to any offers, as he has no intention of leaving.
As if that were not enough, the 23-year-old Frenchman has also had to watch as the French national team has left him off the list of players currently supporting at the 2026 World Cup.
The interest from The Citizens in Eduardo has not yet been confirmed, and, as the Spanish outlet explained, the club has been making moves for some time to improve the squad and maintain strong interest in the young prospect Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille OSC.
Nothing is confirmed, and the Premier League giant has not responded to Real Madrid's offer, but a possible arrival at City could give the No. 6 more opportunities to redeem himself, so it remains to be seen if they decide to choose a more experienced player like him or a younger one with raw potential to polish like Bouaddi.
