After missing El Clásico due to injury, Kylian Mbappé posted an Instagram story during the match, but rather than seeing it as a show of support, many took it as a mockery of Real Madrid.
One of the most criticized after a season without titles at Real Madrid is, without a doubt, Kylian Mbappé. The player has been labeled immature and is said to care little about committing to the club. Sometimes fans exaggerate, but other times it seems they say it for good reason.
The most recent reason the Frenchman has been criticized is for posting an Instagram story from his home, with the match on television, Real Madrid losing 2-0 at that moment, with the text "Hala Madrid." Something many fans took as a mockery of the team's loss.
According to various sources, Mbappé's absence was due to an injury sustained in training, which was proceeding normally, but with 5 minutes left, the player felt discomfort in his hamstrings, ruling out any possibility of his participating in El Clásico.
Even so, people are increasingly losing patience with the former Paris Saint-Germain star, as it seems he believes he is more important than the institution and does what he wants, when he wants. For example, the trip to Italy with his girlfriend in the middle of an injury, all while his teammates were breaking their souls for the team.
It is unclear what the team's immediate future will be. Recently, the word "dictatorship" has begun to be heard from Mbappé in the locker room, as he wants the team to play for him rather than collectively. A study showed that the French forward is among the players who defend the worst with the ball; as you can see in a match, once he loses it, he does nothing to win it back.
Fans are loudly calling for Mourinho to correct these attitudes in the locker room. Will he be able to do it? Many questions arise, but for now, there are no answers. Real Madrid ends another season without a single trophy: no league, no cup, and no Champions League.
These results will bring many changes to the team, but for now, the only question is what those changes will be. The only sure thing is that Real Madrid must become Real Madrid again.
