Real Madrid are reportedly looking to clear up further space in the squad as the summer transfer window enters its final phases.
As we enter the final phases of the summer transfer window, it has certainly been a roller coaster ride for Real Madrid so far.
Florentino Perez's victory in Los Blancos' presidential election this summer set the stage for four quickfire summer signings.
The additions of Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate, Bernardo Silva and Denzel Dumfries were already done and dusted during the initial weeks of the summer.
Following this, the club seemingly decided to continue their operation to make space for further additions, with the imminent departures of Dani Ceballos and Gonzalo Garcia on permanent transfers and Franco Mastantuono on loan to Fiorentina.
Los Blancos have also brought in Yan Diomande on a club-record transfer fee, as the 19-year-old has finally received the green light from his former club, RB Leipzig, to complete the move to the Spanish capital.
But it seems the club's failure to bring Rodri to the Santiago Bernabéu has had a big impact on their plans for the transfer window.
As reported by MARCA, the Whites will most likely put a full stop to further arrivals this summer and shift their focus towards the probable departures.
The report points out three names who have already been linked to an exit: Eduardo Camavinga, Raul Asencio and Endrick.
Reportedly, Mourinho has already made his stance clear on the Los Blancos trio, as they are seemingly absent from his plans for the new season.
With the arrival of Konate, Asencio has fallen further down the pecking order, and the recent injury the Spanish defender sustained at the start of pre-season took away his opportunity to make a case for himself in front of the new boss before the start of the campaign.
As it seems, Asencio will move out on a permanent deal, with a significant sell-on clause in his contract, a similar strategy which the club has mastered over the past few years.
Whereas for Camavinga, things could start going his way, as the French midfielder has repeatedly expressed a desire to stay in the Spanish capital and fight for his spot in the squad.
Camavinga's recent display against Ferencvaros certainly puts a confirmation on his willingness to thrive under Mourinho.
Although with the recent arrival of Carlos Espi, Endrick's departure on yet another loan deal could be a matter of days, as the Brazilian is being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League.
