Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham has been praised by Harry Kane for his recent performances in an England national team shirt, returning the favour after lots of high priase the other way.
During this long international break, Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham enjoyed a very fruitful international break with the England national team.
He scored a goal and provided four assists over the four games, with three of those assists (and the goal) coming in one game away to Croatia, where the Three Lions condemned their hosts to a 7-0 defeat, the biggest defeat in their history.
This has lead to a lot of praise for Bellingham within the English media and from his team mates, who often shower him with some of the highest compliments you are likely to see and read.
One player, who is usually a bit more robotic, that has joined in with the praise of the 23-year old, who took to Instagram to comment on the Real Madrid's most recent post, saying: "Unbelievable camp from you!" alongside fire and heart emojis.
Truth be told, a compliment in return may have been overdue from Kane, considering just how supportive Bellingham is to the skipper on social media and in recent interviews. In fact, the post from him in question tagged Kane and said: "nothing left to say, our greatest!" followed by a heart emoji.
Furthermore, as touched on there, he has also been at in interviews, having this to say to ITV about the Bayern Munich man last night: "I can only talk from my perspective and first and foremost he is an unbelievable human being. As a captain, as a man, he looks after every single person. He's the one to take responsibility off the pitch.
And on the pitch he's the best England player to have worn the shirt. It's an honour to play with him. He's playing at a level that is unmatched. He's scoring goals for fun, he's dropping deep and playing passes in behind and contributing, making tackles and everything. He's only getting better."
You can tell by the way Bellingham speaks that he is an incredibly mature person and player. Some lovely words there, and it is great to see them reciprocated by Kane. Real Madrid are very lucky to have him, but if only they had the 33-year old too. It makes you wonder what might have been.
In the summer of 2023, Los Blancos were often linked with Kane, but instead turned their attentions to Kylian Mbappe, who did not sign until the next summer. From a lot of reports in the media, it sounds like Carlo Ancelotti wanted the striker, but Florentino Perez did not agree.
