As the second day of the international break got underway, it was a productive day for Real Madrid players. Take a look at how things went for each player.
On Friday, the second round of games of this March international break got away, with lots of games all across the globe. As a result, plenty of Real Madrid players were in action.
So, how did they get on?
To begin, Federico Valverde captained Uruguay as they faced England at Wembley. The 27-year old played the 90 minutes, and scored a stoppage time equaliser from the spot to secure a 1-1 draw. They will face Algeria in Italy on Tuesday for their final game of the break.
Meanwhile, Brahim Diaz started for Morocco in their first game since the very controversial AFCON final, as they faced Ecuador in Madrid. He started off the right hand side, with former Real Madrid academy star Achraf Hakimi behind him at right-back.
As for the game, Diaz played 89 minutes before being substituted, one minute after the World Cup semi finalists equalised to draw the game 1-1. They will face Paraguay in Lens for their final game on Tuesday.
At youth level, Gonzalo Garcia scored twice for Spain U21s as they beat Cyprus 7-0 away from home in Euros qualifying. They will host Kosovo on Tuesday for their final game of this window.
Meanwhile, the Spanish senior team named Dean Huijsen amongst the substitutes as they beat Serbia 3-0 at home. Good for him to get some rest. They will host Egypt on Tuesday in their final game.
Clearly, being an unused sub became a bit of a trend for defenders. Antonio Rudiger was also on the bench for Germany's dramatic 4-3 win away to Switzerland. Some more welcome and handy rest. They face Ghana at home in their final game on Monday.
To complete the trident of unused subs, David Alaba also watched on as Austria defeated Ghana 5-1. They will face South Korea in their final game on Tuesday.
Then, to finish off the day of action, Franco Mastantuono came on at half time for Argentina in their 2-1 win against Mauritania, playing alongside Lionel Messi. They will play Zambia in their final game of the break on Tuesday night.
So, that was that. A productive evening for the likes of Valverde and Garcia, whilst key defenders were able to get some rest and avoid risk of injury. So, a pretty good day overall you have to say. Stay tuned right here for more updates on Los Blancos stars over this international window.
