Several Real Madrid players were in action on Thursday all over the world, but which players stood out the most, both individually and collectively?

Thursday saw the first proper day of the March international break begin, and as a result, a number of Real Madrid stars were in action across the globe.

So, let's take a look at how things went for them.

Let's begin with the World Cup play-offs. Arda Guler and his Turkish side were in action at home to Romania in their semi-final. They would win the game 1-0, with Guler assisting the only goal of the game on his 27th appearance for his country.

As a result, the Turks will face Kosovo away from home for a place at the World Cup. The task is simple: win, or don't play at this summer's tournament. The game is on Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, there was lots and lots of Real Madrid representation over in Boston, as Brazil faced France. Vinicius started up front for the Selecao, whilst former Los Blancos midfielder Casemiro was also in the starting XI, and captained the team.

As for the French, they started both Aurelien Tchouameni and the skipper, Kylian Mbappe. Former academy graduate Theo Hernandez was starting the game at left-back. Eduardo Camavinga was on the bench.

Just past the half-hour mark, Mbappe opened the scoring with a sublime chip finish after being played through on goal. This increased his international tally to 56, just one goal behind the nation's all-time top scorer, Olivier Giroud.

Les Blues would win the game 2-1, despite having a man sent off. This despite Vinicius missing a golden chance to equalise with near enough the final kick of the game. As for the others, Mbappe played 66 minutes, Tchouameni played 58, whilst Camavinga remained an unused sub.

Brazil will face Croatia in their second friendly on Tuesday night, whilst France will face Colombia on Sunday evening, in their final friendly of the international window.

Overall, a pretty productive day. Tomorrow will also be exciting. Federico Valverde's Uruguay face Jude Bellingham's England at Wembley, albeit the latter is not expected to play. Meanwhile, Brahim Diaz's Morocco face Ecuador across town at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Elsewhere, Antonio Rudiger's Germany face Switzerland. Whilst Dean Huijsen's Spain will go up against Serbia, after the Finalissima was cancelled. The opponents of that game, Franco Mastantuono's Argentina, will face Mauritania. Should be another interesting day for Real Madrid players. Let's cross our fingers that there will be no injuries or anything like that.
