On Monday, the 22nd of January 2026, here is your latest transfer briefing regarding Real Madrid, with all the deals you may have missed amidst the World Cup chaos

Although everybody is currently distracted with the FIFA World Cup, we are here to provide you the latest updates regarding Real Madrid and the upcoming summer transfer window.

So, here is your Monday transfer briefing updating you on the latest when it comes to both incomings and outgoings at the Bernabeu.

To begin, Diario AS are reporting that Los Blancos’ current focus is two things: A top central defender and a midfielder described as “a big signing/World Cup star.”

Elsewhere, Sky Sports Germany state that Bayern Munich are “100% confident” that Real Madrid target Michael Olise will stay at the Allianz Arena this summer. But, they also say that the German giants are aware he could be Los Blancos’ “top target” for 2027, and are planning to offer him a big contract (his current deal expires in 2029).

Meanwhile, journalist Rodra states that Real Madrid’s central defensive shortlist is as follows: Ruben Dias (price is high), Nico Schlotterbeck (chances now decreased after ankle injury), Alessandro Bastoni, and Piero Hincapie (not easy due to his importance to Arsenal).

This is a good segway to outgoings, as he also states that the club are listening to offers for Raul Asencio, and that his departure would open the door to a new signing in that position. Whilst Fabrizio Romano reiterates that Manchester United see Aurelien Tchouameni as the dream Casemiro replacement, but the club have not opened doors to a sale as of yet.

Moving back to incomings, it is being reported by Patrick Berger that Lille want at least 70 million Euros for Real Madrid target Ayyoub Bouaddi. You wonder if he is the midfield signing described as a "World Cup star" above, given his performances at the tournament so far.

The report from the aforementioned Rodra stating that Juni Calafat was at the Brazil Morocco game only adds fuel to the fire regarding Bouaddi. He would have been very impressed with what he saw in that game.

Meanwhile, it is being reported by El Partidazo de Cope that La Fabrica graduate, Mario Gila - currently of Lazio - is set to join fellow Serie A side Napoli for 15 million Euros, with Real Madrid to receive half of that fee - so around 7 and a half million Euros. Not too bad, it all adds to the pot.

So, there you have it, your latest Los Blancos briefing. More to come.
