Endrick breaks silence on his relationship with Carlo Ancelotti after his bench role with the Brazil national team at the 2026 World Cup.

On Friday, the Brazil national team faced Haiti, and once again, Real Madrid right winger Endrick was relegated to the bench.

The young Brazilian prospect at the merengue club constantly seems to be in the shadow of other players, and in this back-and-forth, one person always comes up: Carlo Ancelotti.

The current coach of the Brazilian national team and Endrick, 19, already have a history. Previously, Ancelotti was the coach of Real Madrid, coinciding with the young player from 2024 until his departure from the position.

The relationship, however, seemed to be broken, at least that is what the fans thought, because the Real Madrid prospect rarely played as a starter, something that drew attention. After all, the great talent he possesses is noticeable from afar.

Now that Ancelotti is the coach of the Brazilian national team, they met again, and once again, Endrick was on the bench without playing minutes in Brazil's first match against Morocco (1-1) in the 2026 World Cup.

This past Friday in the match against Haiti (3-0), Endrick, although on the bench again, finally made his official debut for 27 minutes.

After the match, the young player broke his silence on the rumors circulating about him and the coach, insisting that he fully trusts the decisions the Italian makes.

In words collected by GOAL, Endrick denied any type of conflict between them, assuring that it does not matter if he played many matches or few under his command, because he is grateful to be taken into account.

I spent a year with him at Real Madrid and, thank God, I played many matches. It does not matter if they were five, 10, or 15 minutes; I was by his side, and he knows that I give everything for the team. Here, with the national team, it is no different.

He also insisted that his personal achievements are not above any team, and he understands that Ancelotti will always do what is best to achieve victory.

He is a great coach; he has his head on straight. I thank God that he is here. He is not going to do what is best for Endrick or for the fans, but what is best for the team.

On his side, the Italian, known for giving sharp answers on serious occasions, has assured that he is aware of Endrick's talent, but that the team comes first, so, with patience and without haste, the young player will mature and gain enough experience to continue his legacy.

Brazil will face Scotland next Wednesday, so Endrick will continue preparing to earn the coach's trust and secure his place on a team that already considers him a key piece for victory, despite the mockery on social media over his situation with Ancelotti.

With his loan contract at Lyon ended, the Brazilian will return to Real Madrid next season, where being surrounded by great stars will help him develop his qualities.
