Vinicius Jr. Mocks Barcelona After Real Madrid's Victory

Last Sunday, one of the most important matches took place, not only in LaLiga but on the world stage. The Camp Nou hosted a new edition of the Clasico: Barcelona, which had started the season perfectly, winning its first nine league matches with an average of around four goals per game, faced a Real Madrid that had stumbled a couple of times in September.

However, and to the surprise of many, the merengues set up a match of excellent level where all the players showed a formidable level; no one stopped running, everyone fought for the balls, to the point that the captain, Federico Valverde, suffered a hamstring injury from making so many intense slide tackles to steal balls, but even so, he played around 40 minutes with the problem in his leg.

Even so, the protagonist here is not the Uruguayan, but Vinicius Jr., who, despite having missed the match due to the four-match suspension he has been carrying since Oct. 10, when he pulled the hair of Villarreal player Nathan Saliba, did not waste the opportunity after Real Madrid's victory and decided to leave a subtle message to the Blaugranas in his latest post.

The Brazilian shared the official match result on an Instagram story, but added four laughing emojis to the post, something neither fanbase missed. In addition, he commented on a post from Real Madrid's official account with an image of him pointing to the patch that shows the 15 Champions Leagues the Chamartin side has. Missing the match did not prevent him from joining the celebration by adding the style that only Vini knows how to do.

However, not everything is necessarily positive for the ex-Flamengo player. Yan Diomande, his natural competition in the squad, had a great match at Camp Nou, playing proactively despite his short time at the club and limited experience in matches of this caliber. Which makes his starting spot quite in danger after his return from suspension.

With these gestures, the Brazilian claims a valuable home win against its biggest rival, earning three golden points and leaving it just three points behind Barcelona, which tops the standings. A stumble by the Culers would currently be enough for those coached by Jose Mourinho to catch them at the top. Of course, there is still a lot of time left in the season, so everything will require patience and rationing effort with the tight schedules of modern football.
