France coach Zinedine Zidane discussed the attacking role Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe will have, noting that he can play both as a center forward and on the wing.

Zinedine Zidane attended a press conference this Friday ahead of the last two matchdays of the Nations League. In it, he spoke about Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe and the position in which he will use him, since he can play both as a left winger and as a center forward, the latter being his favorite position in the recent era with the merengue team.

"He is a player who can play in several positions; he may put me in his favorite position, up front; there is no problem with that. When I call up a player, it is for him to play in his natural position, but Kylian has played in several," Zidane said. In this way, it is not made clear with certainty, since he leaves the doubt about the possible use of the merengue player on the left wing, a position that has also suited him quite well.

Mbappe has already gone three matches without being able to play with the France national team, since, let's remember, that last Sept. 25, when they were playing the first matchday of the Nations League, the Merengue player felt discomfort in his left knee when he scored a goal against Turkey. This kept him off the field for the rest of the international break, so the French had to continue in the tournament without their biggest star.

However, the last two dates of the tournament will be on Nov. 12 against Italy at San Siro, as well as on Nov. 15 against Turkey at the Matmut Atlantique Stadium. Two important matches in the pursuit of advancing in the competition. The French march as leaders of their group with 10 points, while the Italians are second with 7. A hypothetical defeat in Milan would complicate the panorama.

For his part, Mbappe comes in with his aim quite sharp, since he never tires of scoring goals with Madrid. He looks quite good in his movements, his explosiveness, and his dribbles. Without a doubt, he will continue to be the differential factor for the French. The important thing is that he does not suffer a setback again, as happened during the previous international break, since they are very important dates for the Merengues too.

An injury to their biggest star would, without a doubt, be extremely hard for the team that is currently fighting for the lead in both LaLiga and the Champions League. Even so, let's hope Mbappe can continue this good rhythm with his national team so that he returns on fire to face the final stretch of the first half of the season.
