Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé addresses injury and commitment concerns, confirming a full recovery.

Kylian Mbappé confirmed that he is fully recovered from his knee problems and responded to accusations from some media outlets about his supposed lack of commitment to Real Madrid.

At an event in France, the forward clarified everything that happened in recent weeks and promised to give his all for the Spanish club in the final stretch of the season.

"My knee is fine. It's improving. It's going quite well, and I know there has been a lot of speculation about it and that false things have been said. That's the life of a high-level athlete, and we are used to people saying things without verifying or having any basis," Mbappé said.

There have been journalists and media outlets that have hinted that he was holding back in Real Madrid matches to arrive in good condition for the World Cup: "There is no debate. I've seen people talk about the World Cup. I have played in two World Cups. I won one, and in the other I reached the final. How did I prepare for those World Cups? By playing every match with my club," he said.

"For me, it's very clear that I want to play every match with Real Madrid. I'm not going to change the way I prepare for it. I could say, "I'll go home and not play," but that's nonsense. I prepared for the last two World Cups in the best way: playing, scoring goals, winning titles, and fighting until the last minute for my club, and this year I'm going to do the same to arrive in good shape. I hope to win it as well," the Real Madrid forward explained.

His knee appears to be at 100%, and he is convinced that the conservative treatment recommended to him in France was the best possible decision: "I have recovered 100%. I had the opportunity in Paris to get a good diagnosis. And together we were able to design a plan to return to my best level with Real Madrid and also with an eye on the World Cup," he said.

Mbappé was criticized for his supposed lack of commitment to Real Madrid after being left out of recent matchday squads due to a knee injury. The fact that he recovered just before the international break fueled speculation, but Kylian wanted to make clear that everything that was said is false.

The forward is focused on finishing the season at the highest level with Real Madrid, arriving in peak condition for the World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, and having the chance to lift his second World Cup with France.
