Michael Olise has long been linked to Real Madrid. The winger is a player the club's sporting management likes, and, in reality, his profile fits perfectly with the transfer policy Florentino Perez has been carrying out for quite some time.
He is young, has a long career ahead of him, and his progression is interesting. However, Bayern Munich, aware of Real Madrid's interest, has already made it clear that they will not sell him at all. He has a contract in force until 2029.
Proof of this is what Max Eberl, the German team's general director, said in an interview with Bild: "We don't even consider it. He is a Bayern Munich player, and here he has all the opportunities an elite player could wish for. We want to build our future with him."
However, he went further and highlighted the Bavarian team's control of this situation: "It doesn't matter which club is looking for him: anyone who plays at Bayern Munich knows what they have at the club. We compete for titles, and that is the most important thing for exceptional players like him. For this type of player, competing for titles is fundamental. There aren't many clubs that can do that, and we are certainly one of the few. So I am completely sure that Michael knows what he has in us."
The truth is that the offensive area of the team that Alvaro Arbeloa currently leads is well covered. In addition, barring any surprises, the return of Nico Paz and Endrick must be taken into account.
In fact, given what these players are doing, Madrid fans are very eager to see them in action starting next season. They have shown that they can succeed in the Spanish capital.
Real Madrid's management will have the opportunity to see Olise up close during this Champions League quarterfinal tie. The Frenchman, without a doubt, will be one of the great threats that the Merengue defense will have to stop. It will not be easy.
