Last winter, Endrick left Real Madrid for France in search of minutes. Now, following a lack of opportunities under Jose Mourinho, he could be on his way out again, this time seemingly headed to Italy.

Endrick is beginning to live through a situation at Real Madrid that, unfortunately, he knows quite well. A situation that already forced him to leave the club in December of last year. The young Brazilian has barely seen minutes so far this season, which causes him to glance sideways again at a possible exit in the winter market. Roma appears as the main candidate to take him.

The Italian team was already close to closing a loan for the Brazilian this summer, but Jose Mourinho asked him to stay at Madrid, and Endrick accepted with the hope of succeeding at the merengue team. His intention was to fight for the position, taking advantage of the opportunities the Portuguese gave him to convince him that he deserved the starting role. But October has already arrived, and those opportunities still have not come.

Endrick has only played 4 minutes this season, and it was against Elche. The muscle injury he suffered during the preseason deprived him of activity during the first matches. However, despite having recovered for quite some time, Mourinho has practically not taken him into account. Kylian Mbappe is the one who plays the most minutes, and when he opts for a spark off the bench, Carlos Espi is the second option.

To the Brazilian's misfortune, Espi has been extremely effective when it comes to entering the field. His goals against Espanyol and Elche, minutes after coming onto the field and which, in both cases, meant victory for Real Madrid, have reinforced his position in the squad. Meanwhile, Endrick remains on the bench, waiting for an opportunity, possibly in the Copa del Rey.

However, he is receiving opportunities with the Brazil national team. Carlo Ancelotti has given him minutes in the last two friendlies against Australia and India. He has only been able to give one assist, which is not surprising at all, but at least it is much more than what he has received at Madrid.

Let's remember that last year, a quite similar situation ended up pushing him to go to France to look for minutes. Lyon received him to face the second part of the 2025/26 season; in it, he played 21 matches, scored eight goals, and gave 5 assists, which led to him being considered again by Brazil.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma would be interested in making a new offer to try to take the Brazilian this winter, something that, as we mentioned at the beginning, was close to happening this summer, but the Portuguese coach convinced him to stay at Madrid. We will see what stance Endrick takes regarding this possibility of resurging in Italy.
