Liverpool and Real Madrid vie for a highly-rated French winger.

The transfer window is closed, although the big European clubs are already making moves, especially because in a World Cup summer, there will be many moves taking place, and one of the names that will make the most noise is Michael Olise.

One of the teams that needs to strengthen is Liverpool, although they already spared no expense last summer, something that will not change in June, as Arne Slot commented at a news conference after falling 2-1 to Brighton.

“In England, no one is used to clubs selling players. Normally, when a club buys, it is already strengthening the great squad it has, but this club adopts a different model. No one wants to see that, and no one wants to understand it. Some experts do not want to tell you. If the 150 million pound player is not available, that is one thing. If Leoni is not available, that is another. Jeremie Frimpong is much more available lately. Mamardashvili is another signing. It is totally logical that, when you won the league last season and spent 150 million pounds, not 450 million, expectations are high. At our club, we are analyzing the situation, the things we had, and the problems we had this season. Maybe we should be a little more realistic about why this season has gone this way. But still it is not enough! No matter how many excuses I can make up, it is still not enough,” said the Dutch coach.

Given the continuity of the coach from Bergentheim, Liverpool would be determined to sign Michael Olise, one of the players with the brightest future in world football.

According to Defensa Central, the Reds’ plan is to bring in a Bayern Munich player to replace Mohamed Salah, who, barring a last-minute surprise, will leave Anfield this coming summer.

Michael Olise, who has a contract until June 2029 with the Bavarian side, would be open to returning to England, considering he was born in Hammersmith (London), even more so to become Liverpool’s leader.

At this moment, the French-born player has a market value of 130 million euros, although German sources say that for 100 million, the German executives would let him leave.

Additionally, in recent hours, a development has occurred that has further increased the rumors: Michael Olise’s family was present at American Express Stadium, the venue where Brighton defeated Liverpool 2-1, and through which English sources have spoken of an approach between the Reds and the Bayern Munich player, something already known by Real Madrid.
