Manchester United Issued Major Transfer Update on Real Madrid Star

Author of an interesting 2025/26 season, Aurelien Tchouameni did not, however, gain much credit with his management. Real Madrid is open to a sale this summer to replenish its coffers, while Manchester United is closely monitoring the situation.

The current situation at Real Madrid is particularly eventful. Re-elected president until 2030, Florentino Perez wants to drastically transform his squad to make it stronger and more capable of winning trophies again, all under the guidance of Jose Mourinho. This necessarily requires quality signings, but above all, very expensive ones.

And to finance them while ensuring space for future arrivals, the White House club has decided to open the door to a Tchouameni transfer. The French international is in the middle of the World Cup, but he could well spend it with the fear of being pushed out by his club.

This is at least what journalist Gianluigi Longari claims, who says Real Madrid is ready to part with its midfielder this summer. Tchouameni is coming off an interesting season, spent in a role in the shadow of those who should have created and finished better.

"Real Madrid is open to considering the departure of Aurelien Tchouameni. The midfielder would like to stay, but the Merengues are considering a sale. Manchester United has expressed a strong interest in Tchouameni's agents," Longari wrote on his official X (Twitter) account.

Author of 49 appearances this season for 2 goals and 2 assists, his performances have been noticed: with the possibility of seeing him arrive on the transfer market, Manchester United has begun to follow the evolution of his situation very closely.

For now, his market value is around $76 million, $11 million less than the amount Real Madrid spent to recruit him four years ago. However, the Merengue management does not plan to sell him. So the Red Devils and any other suitors have been warned.
