A secret 'presidential pact' between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich is blocking Michael Olise's transfer to the Spanish giants, according to reports. An offer of €200M+ would still fail.

Outstanding with the French national team at the start of the World Cup, Michael Olise is likely to make headlines beyond the tournament because of the interest he is attracting on the transfer market.

Real Madrid has been extremely active at the start of the transfer window and does not intend to stop there. Under the direction of Jose Mourinho, the Spanish giant has already completed the signings of Ibrahima Konate, Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, and Denzel Dumfries.

The dream of the Special One and president Florentino Perez is now to make a huge statement by bringing another "Galactico" to Real Madrid. Michael Olise is a target, and a potential offer of 200 million euros or more has frequently been mentioned in recent days.

Real Madrid's interest in the French playmaker was indeed confirmed by Christian Falk, a German transfer specialist for CF Bayern Insider. However, according to him, a transfer of the former Crystal Palace prodigy to Real Madrid this summer is simply impossible. The reason? An agreement finalized during the 2025-26 season between Florentino Perez and his German counterpart Herbert Hainer not to target each other's players during transfer windows.

"Hainer clearly informed his colleague and friend that Real Madrid had no chance of signing Olise. Perez, for his part, also made it clear that the Madrid club would not make any approach without informing Hainer beforehand. So where are these rumors coming from?" the journalist asked before continuing.

"They have a 'presidential pact.' For now, Real Madrid knows it has no chance, even with an offer of 300 million euros. In addition, the Spanish club is prepared to wait if Bayern Munich refuses to sell Michael Olise," wrote the journalist specializing in Bundesliga news, revealing the existence of a secret pact between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

If Florentino Perez keeps his word to his German counterpart, the club from the Spanish capital should therefore not attempt a move for Michael Olise. It is, therefore, strange to learn almost every day of new information suggesting that the runners-up in Spain dream of attracting the leading assist provider at the 2026 World Cup.
