Real Madrid have joined Liverpool and Barcelona in the race for Brighton's Luka Vuskovic, per reports. The 19-year-old has a market value of €65 million.

According to recent reports, Real Madrid have expressed interest in signing Brighton & Hove Albion center-back Luka Vuskovic.

Real Madrid are focused on the present, especially after beating Barcelona in El Clásico at Spotify Camp Nou.

However, reports suggest Los Blancos are also planning ahead, with Luka Vuskovic emerging as a potential target. The defender is one of Europe's most promising talents and, according to journalist Fraser Fletcher, has caught the Spanish giants' attention.

"Luka Vuskovic continues to attract significant interest from Europe's elite," the aforementioned journalist reported in TeamTalk.

He added: "Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Barcelona have joined the race for the Brighton & Hove Albion center-back."

Fletcher also explained that sources close to the situation indicate all three clubs are very interested in the 19-year-old, adding to Bayern Munich's long-standing pursuit and the interest of other clubs, including Chelsea.

At the moment, Real Madrid does not appear to be planning a public move for the defender, according to reports from Defensa Central.

This is primarily because the squad is already overcrowded, and the club could consider signing a midfielder rather than a defender during the winter transfer window.

However, next summer could be a different story. Antonio Rüdiger is set to leave when his contract expires, potentially giving the young Brighton defender a prominent role in the club's transfer plans.

Juni Calafat, who has been largely responsible for identifying many of Real Madrid's top young talents in recent years, reportedly has very positive scouting reports on Vuskovic, according to Defensa Central.

The young Brighton player is under contract until June 2031 and has a market value of €65 million. If Real Madrid decides to pursue the Croatian center-back, they could potentially use Luka Modric to their advantage.

The midfielder has long been a key ally for Los Blancos and a respected figure in Croatia, so his involvement could prove decisive, though no concrete reports suggest this is currently being considered.

Vuskovic has already made 13 appearances for Brighton this season across the Premier League, Carabao Cup, and UEFA Conference League. He has also scored one goal and provided one assist in league action.

Following his successful loan spell at German side Hamburg, Tottenham Hotspur's decision to sell him to Brighton rather than keep him in the squad was particularly surprising, given his immense talent and young age.

We'll have to wait and see what happens.
