French media L'Equipe says Vitinha, Ousmane Dembele, and Desire Doue must raise their level for PSG to beat Arsenal in the Champions League final.

PSG is once again in the Champions League final, and it is a huge feat to be in contention for a back-to-back championship. Three players will need to raise their level of play against Arsenal.

Another PSG recital in the Champions League, but in a different style. Victorious 5-4 in the first leg after an offensive festival, Paris quickly opened the scoring in Bavaria, before resisting Bayern Munich's assaults until the end.

In terms of play, it was less flashy, even if Manuel Neuer had at least as many decisive saves to make as Matvey Safonov. But the solidarity of Luis Enrique's team also shows that soccer is won with "warriors," as Nasser Al-Khelaifi emphasized.

On the defensive side, the Parisian players gave everything to secure this draw, which meant qualification for the Champions League final, their second consecutive. Nevertheless, they will still need to find a more polished level of play to overcome the solid Arsenal team, very physical and strong on set pieces.

In Munich, three players were not at the expected level, which prevented PSG from putting themselves out of reach.

First, there is a discreet Vitinha in the heart of the game, who received the lowest grade among PSG players. L'Equipe gives him a 5 out of 10, describing his match as "discreet and clumsy, with minimal influence in the buildup and often trailing without the ball." Surprisingly, the Portuguese is slowing down a bit at the end of the season, but he's still far from playing badly.

Up front, although Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was simply unplayable for the Germans, his two partners were not. Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue both received a grade of 6 out of 10.

The Ballon d'Or winner started strong but "was very discreet after the break," according to Le Parisien, so his early substitution was not so surprising. Finally, Doue made a lot of effort, but if he was criticized despite the chances he sometimes creates for himself, it is for his poor combination choices, where he did not look for his teammates and too often attempted an individual solution.

Things to improve if PSG wants to produce another great performance in the final, as was the case last year against Inter Milan, where everyone was at their peak.
