Achraf Hakimi's agent quashes Real Madrid return rumors, confirming his client's contentment and PSG's Champions League ambitions.
After Vitinha's recent public rejection, Real Madrid no longer interests Achraf Hakimi, despite new rumors from the Spanish press this week. The agent of the Moroccan right-back at PSG broke the silence to assure that his client is very happy in Paris and is not considering a return to Madrid.
Achraf Hakimi will play again in Madrid, but not with Los Blancos' jersey. On Friday, Morocco will face Ecuador, with Willian Pacho, in a friendly at the Metropolitano. An opportunity for the PSG right back to play again in the city where he was born and where he launched his professional career.
Regularly, Hakimi's name is linked to Real Madrid. This was notably the case after the departure of his friend Kylian Mbappe to the Spanish capital, or just before his contract extension until 2029 was signed in February 2025. This week, Spanish journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon, known for his unreliability, revived the rumor on his X account.
The journalist, who collaborates with Radio Marca, tweeted Tuesday morning that Achraf Hakimi wanted to return to Real Madrid and was ready "to make a move" to achieve it. The rumor was launched in a context where Dani Carvajal is at the end of his time at Real Madrid, while his successor, Trent Alexander-Arnold, has not yet been fully convinced.
But the agent of the African Ballon d'Or winner, Alejandro Camano, did not take long to come out of silence to extinguish this Madrid rumor: "Achraf is very happy at Paris Saint-Germain, he feels extremely good there, he wants to win the Champions League for the second time and he wants the team to go as far as possible," he assured the Arab site winwin.
"We still have three years left on the current contract with the Parisian club, and for now, he is not thinking about anything other than Paris Saint-Germain," he added. "He is very happy with his coach and his teammates, and he feels good in this country. For now, there is no possibility of a departure."
Also asked about the existence of informal or official contacts with Real Madrid, Alejandro Camano was clear: "No, that has never happened." For several months, the pro-Madrid press had largely fueled rumors of a possible summer signing of Vitinha. Something the Portuguese himself extinguished in a recent interview.
"I think it is not the best thing for me right now. I feel very good here, at PSG. I feel that people here love me very much and that I have earned their affection. I love being here, my family too. We have a fantastic group and an incredible coach. It would be stupid to leave," the Portuguese maestro assured on Canal 11 in early March.
