Marquinhos returns for PSG's Champions League clash, but Dembélé stays sidelined. See the predicted lineups as the Parisians chase victory.

On the eve of the Bayer Leverkusen vs. Paris Saint-Germain match, it is already possible to predict the lineups of Luis Enrique and Kasper Hjulmand. With recent returns, the Parisian starting eleven should be very competitive in Germany.

Following two draws against Lille (1-1) and Strasbourg (3-3), PSG hopes to get back to winning ways against Leverkusen on Tuesday to secure a third consecutive victory in the Champions League this season after the wins against Atalanta (4-0) and Barcelona (2-1).

For this trip to Germany, Luis Enrique will still be without João Neves and Fabian Ruiz, but will be able to count on the return of his captain Marquinhos and his Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembélé, who have not played since Sept. 22 against Marseille and Sept. 5 against Ukraine, respectively. (With PSG, Dembélé has not played since Aug. 30 and his brace in Toulouse).

Lucas Chevalier should once again have Luis Enrique's confidence and start in goal. After being rested against Strasbourg last Friday, Achraf Hakimi will be back on the right side of the defense, and Marquinhos should also be in the starting lineup. Willian Pacho and Nuno Mendes should complete the Parisian backline.

Marquinhos Set for PSG Starting Return, But Not Dembélé

After a very good performance as a defensive midfielder against Strasbourg, Warren Zaïre-Emery should start in the right midfield position, as Vitinha, who was on the bench against Strasbourg, should start against Bayer Leverkusen.

The left midfield position should go to Désiré Doué, who played in that position on Friday against Strasbourg upon his return from injury.

Finally, in attack, Ousmane Dembélé will likely be preserved again and Senny Mayulu should be preferred over Gonçalo Ramos as the center forward. Bradley Barcola and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are expected on the wings.

PSG predicted starting XI vs. Bayer Leverkusen: Chevalier; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, Doué; Kvaratskhelia, Mayulu, Barcola.

As for Bayer Leverkusen, which remains with three victories in the Bundesliga but two draws in the Champions League, Kasper Hjulmand will have numerous absent players, either due to injury or not being registered for the competition, like Martin Terrier.

Leverkusen is expected to line up as usual in a 3-4-3 formation, but several potential starters are uncertain, mainly defender Jarell Quansah and center forward Patrik Schick, who were nonetheless present at training on Monday morning, unlike Lucas Vazquez and Nathan Tella. There is also a doubt in attack between Eliesse Ben Seghir and Ibrahim Maza.

Bayer Leverkusen predicted starting XI vs. PSG: Flekken; Badé, Quansah, Tapsoba; Arthur, Andrich, Aleix Garcia, Grimaldo; Maza (or Ben Seghir), Schick (or Kofane), Poku.
