Here are the predicted lineups and team news before the Champions League game between Chelsea and PSG.

On the eve of the Chelsea vs. PSG showdown, in the Champions League round of 16 second leg, it is already possible to predict the lineups for both teams. On the Parisian side, the big doubt concerns the attack with four players for three positions.

Winner 5-2 at the Parc des Princes last Wednesday, PSG meets Chelsea again this Tuesday evening at Stamford Bridge with the ambition of securing their ticket to the Champions League quarterfinals. A decisive match for which Luis Enrique will have almost his entire squad since the only two absentees should be the same as in the first leg, namely Fabian Ruiz and Quentin Ndjantou.

Despite a slight doubt stemming from his exit in the 69th minute and images showing him touching his right knee, Ousmane Dembélé trained normally in recent days and should be operational and, logically, a starter this Tuesday evening. Moreover, a few changes are expected this Tuesday evening on the Parisian side compared to last Wednesday.

In goal, Matvey Safonov will continue and should protect the same defense as in the first leg, from right to left Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho and Nuno Mendes. In midfield, Vitinha and João Neves are assured of starting, but there is a slight uncertainty for the third position between Warren Zaïre-Emery and Senny Mayulu, who made a fine entrance last Wednesday.

In attack, Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola should start and the third place will be between Désiré Doué, who started in the first leg, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who replaced him in the 62nd minute in the first leg, before turning the match around by delivering an assist to Vitinha and then scoring a valuable brace.

PSG's predicted lineup vs. Chelsea: Safonov; Hakimi, Marquinhos (c), Pacho, Mendes; Zaïre-Emery (or Mayulu), Vitinha, Neves; Kvaratskhelia (or Doué), Dembélé, Barcola.

On Chelsea's side, who lost 1-0 on Saturday against Newcastle with nine starters who had started at the Parc, Liam Rosenior might be tempted to field a team close to the one from the first leg. His big decision will once again concern the goalkeeper position. Robert Sanchez was recalled from the bench against the Magpies, but Filip Jörgensen had injured his groin the day before, according to his coach.

"Filip felt some discomfort in his groin yesterday (Friday) in training, but we hope he will be back very, very soon," the English coach said on Saturday, who could have his Danish goalkeeper available Tuesday, and therefore a very big choice to make at this position after losing one in the first leg.

For the rest, it is not yet known whether Pedro Neto, who was suspended on Saturday against Newcastle and replaced by Alejandro Garnacho, will be available this Tuesday. UEFA is examining his push on a ball boy at the Parc des Princes and could suspend him for Chelsea vs. PSG (the decision is expected Monday).

This Monday, we also learned of captain Reece James' withdrawal due to hamstring injuries, and he's out for several weeks. A significant absence that should benefit former Strasbourg Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos, or Roméo Lavia, who came on against PSG and Newcastle, unlike the Brazilian.

Chelsea's probable lineup vs. PSG: Sanchez or (Jorgensen); Gusto, Fofana, Chalobah, Cucurella; Lavia (or Santos), Caicedo; Palmer, Fernandez, Garnacho (or Neto); João Pedro.
