Gabriel Moscardo is eyeing a permanent place at PSG after impressing at Braga, embracing new defensive roles and exceptional training standards.

Gabriel Moscardo will return to PSG next summer. The Brazilian is thriving this season in the colors of Braga and could get his chance with the French capital club.

Paris Saint-Germain has a very high-quality squad, and it is not always easy to find a place in it. Moscardo, 20, knows it well and was quickly loaned out by the European champion.

The Brazilian midfielder notably played at Stade de Reims before joining Braga. In Portugal, the former SC Corinthians player is enjoying himself. Sometimes repositioned as a central defender, Moscardo manages to show all his talent. Enough to hope for a bright future in Europe and at PSG, perhaps even as early as next season if Luis Enrique decides to trust him.

In an interview given in recent hours to Portuguese media outlet 365 Scores, the Taubate native, in any case, sent a clear message to the capital club: "My agent, in agreement with PSG's management, will decide what is best for me. We will talk about it again once the season is over. Of course, I want to stay at Paris Saint-Germain, to do the preseason preparation, because that is where I belong and where I must be."

"The Club World Cup was a very special moment for me. I was able to play more matches and train with them more often. They had just won the Champions League. To all those who ask me what it is like to train with them, I answer that I have never seen anything like it. Their training level is simply exceptional; they really are the best in the world."

Moscardo's stated objective is therefore indeed to return to PSG and play an entire season there. That works out well, Paris is looking for new central defenders and the Brazilian player could enter the rotation at that position. Recently, his compatriot Lucas Beraldo was repositioned in midfield and is impressing quite a few people. Something to give the staff ideas regarding Moscardo. We will find out very soon.
