Liverpool is reportedly targeting Bradley Barcola and two other PSG wingers ahead of the summer transfer window.
PSG tormented Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League, and the Reds have decided to react in a very particular way. Nearly the entire Parisian offensive line is targeted by the English club for this summer, according to reports.
Proof is given every season, but it is rarely the club that spends the most money in the transfer window that reaps all the titles.
Manchester City and Chelsea took more than 10 years after massive investments to win the Champions League. PSG as well. Last summer, Liverpool completely broke its habits by investing half a billion euros to strengthen itself.
Despite that, the Reds are fighting to finish in the top five in the Premier League and were clearly eliminated by PSG in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Arne Slot is on his way to having new major reinforcements, notably to compensate for the serious injury of Hugo Ekitike and the departure of Mohamed Salah, which has already been made official.
And according to information from journalist David Lynch, who specializes in Liverpool, the Reds are clearly looking toward PSG. The offensive players of the Parisian club all hurt the Merseyside club badly in the European Cup. And Liverpool wants them all.
Perhaps not at the same time, but the journalist assures that the English club does not intend to choose, and is a candidate for the arrival of Bradley Barcola, Desire Doue, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, depending on the availability of each.
If one of these three players were to consider a departure, then Liverpool would open wide the door and its wallet.
On the face of it, among the three elements in question, Barcola, 23, is more likely to leave PSG. He has not yet extended his contract and has been asking questions about his future for a year. But this season, his playing time and his status are clearly improving.
In any case, the former Lyon player, like Kvaratskhelia, 25, and Desire Doue, 20, knows that the Reds are ready to welcome him.
