Frustrated by limited playtime, PSG striker Goncalo Ramos pushes for a summer transfer. His agent, Jorge Mendes, actively seeks a new club.
Cruelly lacking playing time at PSG for nearly two years, Goncalo Ramos cannot take it anymore. His departure has become vital during the next transfer window, and his agent, Jorge Mendes, is at work.
Ramos, 24, is the supersub of Paris Saint-Germain and nothing more in the eyes of Luis Enrique. The Portuguese forward long accepted this status, notably last season during the brilliant Champions League campaign.
Ramos never raised his voice above anyone else in the locker room, which is why he is very appreciated and enormously respected. Nevertheless, the former Benfica Lisbon striker can no longer settle for the current situation.
He wishes to pack his bags this summer to find a project where he will be considered an undisputed starter, a status he wants to quickly regain. Italian journalist Luca Bianchin thus confirms Ramos' desire to leave and reports that his agent, Jorge Mendes, is working on finding him an exit.
The latter has also confirmed to Parisian sporting director Luis Campos that, barring a major reversal of the situation, Ramos will no longer be at PSG next season.
The question now is where the Portuguese forward will bounce back. Bianchin reports that the most serious track leads to AC Milan. The Lombard club is in search of a center forward, and Ramos' profile fits perfectly with what the Rossoneri want.
Under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2028, the Olhao native is valued by its leadership at at least €40 million, eager to land on its feet at a minimum after investing more than €65 million, including bonuses, to recruit him in 2023.
In the event of a departure this summer, Ramos will not leave an everlasting memory in the French capital. He will nonetheless remain in supporters' memory as a formidable supersub, having demonstrated his value and usefulness over the years, including in big Champions League fixtures.
