PSG's Kang-In Lee joins South Korea for the 2026 World Cup alongside Son Heung-min and Kim Min-jae.

The 2025/26 Ligue 1 season will come to an end on Sunday when Paris Saint-Germain faces Paris FC. Once the current campaign is over, players called up for the 2026 World Cup will prepare for the occasion.

While PSG has its match on May 30 against Arsenal in the Champions League final in mind, other players will also have to put their heads into the World Cup.

The team led by Luis Enrique never disappoints when it comes to being selected to represent their respective countries, so it is no surprise to anyone that more than four have been called up.

One of them is PSG's South Korean midfielder, Kang-In Lee, as announced by the X (Twitter) page of Paris Saint-Germain.

South Korea's coach Hong Myung-bo has called up Lee to support the national team in this competition alongside other stars such as Son Heung-min of Los Angeles FC and Kim Min-jae of Bayern Munich.

South Korea will face the Czech Republic on June 12, Mexico on June 19, and South Africa on June 25 in Group A.

But Lee is not the only player from the Parisian roster who will leave to train with his national team.

For the French national team, coach Didier Deschamps has called up Lucas Hernandez, Desire Doue, Bradley Barcola, Warren Zaire-Emery, and the Ballon d'Or winner, Ousmane Dembele.

As for the Tunisia national team, Khalil Ayari, the young academy player from the Parisian club who has recently been attracting attention, was also called up to play with the national team.

Lee was sidelined from Paris Saint-Germain due to discomfort he presented in the match against Brest, where he was taken out in the second half after less than half an hour of having entered.

As a result, it was noted that the 25-year-old would be out for a while to recover.

Today, before Sunday's match against Paris FC, the official page confirmed that Lee has recovered and will be able to contribute to the imminent celebration alongside the others on the field.
