Today, Wednesday the 29th of July 2026, it has been all but officially confirmed that PSG forward, Randal Kolo Muani, will depart the club this summer window.

Back in the summer of 2023, off the back of an excellent season in the German Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt, PSG made the signing of Randal Kolo Muani for a reported fee of around 90 million Euros.

Safe to say, it has not worked out at all. After a disappointing 18 months in the French capital, he was loaned out to Serie A giants Juventus in the winter of 2025, where he actually had a productive loan spell.

However, The Old Lady were not able to bring him back to Turin that summer, and he instead moved to the Premier League, joining Spurs on loan. This loan was much less productive, scoring just one goal and registering one assist in 30 league games, with five goals and four assists across 41 games in all competitions.

So, as loans work, he returned back to PSG this summer, with it being clear that Spurs were not interested in resigning him. However, it is clear that Luis Enrique's side have just as little interest in reintergrating him into the squad. So, what now?

Well, we now know. Indeed so, as Fabrizio Romano has given the 'Here we Go' for Kolo Muani to rejoin Juventus, again on loan but this time with an obligation to buy, for a package worth over 45 million Euros to PSG.

Meanwhile, journalist Andrea Losapio reports that the obligation is conditional (so not guaranteed), but is very easy to achieve, and says the fee will be 35 + 5 million Euros, with PSG having a sell on clause too.

Can't really argue too much either way. Yes it may be quite a substantial loss on what the club paid for him three years ago, but that was always going to happen. Making up the best part of 50% of your money back can't be seen as the worst thing considering the transfer really did not work out, as well as his disappointing season with Spurs in the Premier League.

With this fee to come, the fee for Goncalo Ramos, the fee for Kang-in Lee, and a potential incoming fee for Bradley Barcola, there will be a lot of money for PSG to spend to try and make sure the squad can keep going deep into the UEFA Champions League, and hopefully pull off an absolutely historical threepeat of the competition. Let's see. Exciting times ahead, no doubt.
