FC Porto is very interested in PSG's 17-year-old midfield prospect Mathis Jangeal, according to reports.

The summer transfer window is approaching, and we are getting closer to seeing the changes that will happen to Paris Saint-Germain's players.

Recently, PSG won the Champions League final against Arsenal (1-1), a match that kept fans glued to their screens, and after a penalty shootout that seemed never-ending, they were finally crowned winners.

And although the Parisian club is currently celebrating and others are preparing to support and participate with their national teams for the upcoming 2026 World Cup, rumors of clubs interested in players creep in through the shadows.

According to L'Equipe, Portuguese club FC Porto is very interested in one of the most talented prospects from Paris Saint-Germain's under-19 team: Mathis Jangeal.

Jangeal is a 17-year-old French midfielder who never tires of being praised by the media, as this season he debuted with coach Luis Enrique's first team as a substitute for a few minutes in September of last year.

At such a young age, Jangeal also participated in the Under-19 Gambardella Cup, helping the team to victory by scoring the winning goal.

While rumors suggest that PSG wants to sign him to a professional contract, the Frenchman is beginning to receive more job offers from other clubs, and it is now believed that he will opt to leave his current club.

Some of the clubs interested in the teenager are VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Hamburger SV; most recently, FC Porto has joined the list of candidates.

Mathis' father had spoken out on X (Twitter) on several occasions in May, clarifying that his son would not leave PSG.

His father has said that both of them have been Parisians for a very long time and that they will continue to be so time and again, calling on the media to stop spreading false information, assuring that there are currently talks with the club, which are normal for the end of the contract, and that they are waiting.

But according to the aforementioned French outlet, the Portuguese club has already presented its sporting project to Jangeal, and after several weeks of consideration, L'Equipe apparently concludes that the young player has made a key decision about his future.

PSG is known for giving opportunities to the youngest players, especially the most outstanding, but it is normal for talents to seek new horizons when necessary.

For the moment, we will have to see what decision the Jangeal and his entourage make for his growth.
