Ahead of France's clash with Paraguay at this summer's FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico, let's find out if PSG star Ousmane Dembele is featuring.
Later on today, Saturday the 4th of July, at 23:00 CET, there will be action for a number of PSG players, as France take on surprise package Paraguay in the World Cup last 16 over in Philadelphia.
With there being as many as five players from Luis Enrique's side in the squad, it is highly improbable that all of them start the game. Lucas Hernandez and Warren Zaire-Emery are both yet to see the pitch this tournament, and there is a good chance that will continue this evening.
Meanwhile, Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue appear to be in direct competition for the starting birth off the left hand side of the France attack. Both players have started two games and come on as a sub in two games. Barcola scored against Senegal and Sweden, whilst assisting against Norway, and Doue scored against the latter opponent himself.
So, it will be interesting to see who Les Blues manager Didier Deschamps will give the nod to in this one. Considering that last time out against Sweden, Barcola started and scored, it feels like the wise move would be to not try and fix that.
The one PSG player absolutely guaranteed to start the game is the reigning Ballon D'or winner, Ousmane Dembele. The 29-year old scored and assisted in the 3-0 win over Iraq, before scoring a hat-trick against Norway in the final group game.
Then, in the win over Sweden in the round of 32, his excellent combination play with Michael Olise and Kylian Mbappe saw him assist the latter to open the scoring and get France on their way.
To begin the tournament, Deschamps was using Dembele as a nominal number ten, with Olise off the right. It is clear he thought that Dembele's central role at club level could translate to the international stage. However, playing false nine is a lot different to as a number ten, with a nominal striker in front of you.
So, since then, he has swapped positions with Olise, moving to the right hand side with the Bayern Munich forward taking up the central role behind Mbappe, and it is safe to say that France have not looked back since. They are purring at the moment, and you expect that to continue tonight, even against a stubborn and solid Paraguay side.
