Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti has given the green light for PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani to return to the Italian club.
The story of versatile Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani has been fractured since he began to lose his place in the Parisian squad, as he has been loaned out several times since 2024.
With a contract valid until 2028 with PSG, Kolo Muani, 27, had a great start when he first arrived at Parc des Princes, even managing to be part of the starting lineup, so he had quite a few opportunities to consolidate himself.
His performance declined in the 2024/2025 season, so the club decided to send him on loan to Juventus, though it was not necessarily due to his quality of play.
The Frenchman is the type of forward who knows how to attack and play in quick transitions when needed, but this style of play is not compatible with coach Luis Enrique, who prefers a much more coordinated style with a lot of possession, which does not fit Kolo Muani.
That is why the Italian club opened its doors to him, and during the season he was on loan, the forward regained his shine and self-confidence, managing to stand out with 10 goals and 3 assists.
However, his time at the Serie A club ended, and he returned to the Parisian squad, where he had no place under the Spanish coach and was sent to Tottenham Hotspur, where he did not perform again as he did at Juventus.
Kolo Muani now finds himself in need of a new team, and according to Tuttosport, Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti has already given the green light for the player to return to Juventus Stadium.
The Frenchman was also left out of the call-up for the 2026 World Cup with the French national team, a surprise to fans, as in the previous World Cup, he had been one of the key players who starred in one of the most memorable plays in recent times.
Without alarming anyone, as it was expected, the national team coach chose to call up Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta, who possesses more versatility than Kolo Muani.
Due to his limited appearances, Kolo Muani's price was devalued, prompting PSG to look for a way to resolve the issue.
Despite having lost the initial investment on the Frenchman, PSG is aware it will not recoup that amount, so a transfer of around €40M would satisfy the club's board.
It is not yet known how much Juventus could offer for the player, especially because he has not had the same quality of play since he left La Vecchia Signora, but within the club, he is highly valued and loved, and since Spalletti is looking to increase the offensive, he could negotiate if necessary.
