Luis Enrique called PSG's 2-1 loss to Paris FC the 'worst match' of his three-year tenure. 'We created zero chances. I am not happy,' he said.

In the final minutes of the match, PSG fell to Paris FC on Sunday, and it is an understatement to say that manager Luis Enrique did not like what he saw from his team. Even though it was a meaningless match, the European champions' coach looked glum.

Besides the injury to Ousmane Dembele, whose severity seems to be harmless, Luis Enrique was especially dismayed by his team's performance in the derby against Paris FC. A PFC team that this season beat PSG twice, once in the Cup, and once on Sunday in Ligue 1 (2-1).

If on the European champions' supporters' side, the result is already forgotten, with the final against Arsenal on May 30 on everyone's mind, that is not the case for the PSG coach, who did not hide his dismay at his team's performance at Stade Jean-Bouin. True to his habits, Luis Enrique was blunt on the Ligue 1+ microphone.

Aware that this match held no concrete importance for his team, Luis Enrique nonetheless appreciated what he saw over 90 minutes.

"What do I take away from this match? Nothing at all. The first half was of a very low level; we created zero chances. It is difficult to value our team's performance today. It is not the worst first half of the season; it is the worst match of PSG since I have been here for three years. When you play without intensity and without ambition, things can happen, and today we showed that. Of course, there are many excuses, but I do not like excuses. I know it is hard to get motivated, but when you play for PSG, you have to show that you are different. And there, it was a bad match, and I am not happy," said the Parisian coach after the defeat at the Paris neighbor.
