Manchester City striker Erling Haaland did not hesitate to show his clear support for PSG in his Instagram story ahead of the great UEFA Champions League final.

We are just hours away from the start of the Champions League final, a powerful clash between an impressive offensive force like Paris Saint-Germain and a powerful, very difficult-to-penetrate defense like Arsenal’s. The pursuit of a second straight title against the desire to win their first trophy, all the ingredients create a very attractive match, so much so that even the stars of sports themselves do not hide their wishes to watch it.

This is the case of Erling Haaland, the Manchester City striker, who not only did not hide his desire to watch the match but also implied he would attend the stadium and named his favorite.

All this through a photo he posted on his Instagram stories, in which the Norwegian is seen going to the airport with a small suitcase and the following text: "Budapest, Let’s go PSG". It was clear he would not cheer for a league rival, much less the one that snatched the Premier League title from them.

Just a few hours before the final begins, both teams report being ready to face the match, with PSG recovering its three biggest doubts. Ousmane Dembele says he is 100 percent for the match, while Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes have already received medical clearance from Luis Enrique to start in the most important match of the season.

On Arsenal’s side, coach Mikel Arteta confirmed that Dutch defender Jurrien Timber is ready to start the match, after being out for more than 2 months due to a groin and ankle injury. Without a doubt, it is a very important return for the Gunners.

Let us recall a bit of what each coach said in the press conference ahead of the final. With a cautious Mikel Arteta stating the following: “The lineup for tomorrow, I have less uncertainty than the Atleti match due to injuries. As for what will happen, well, the Champions League is like that.

The footballers decide the matches. They want to win more. In those moments, you experience different desires because you have lifted it before and you want to repeat that feeling more times. That is what we want tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, Luis Enrique responded as follows when asked if there are favorites in the final: “In a final, it is very complicated to talk about favorites. Last year, we already saw a totally unpredictable match, and that is part of football. I do not believe one team is above the other. The key will be to take advantage of the small details and know how to manage the tension that these types of matches generate.”
