PSG agrees to sign AS Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche as Kang-In Lee's departure to Atletico Madrid nears completion.

Paris Saint-Germain has begun to move in the summer transfer market, and one of the first to reinforce the squad is AS Monaco right-winger Maghnes Akliouche.

PSG continues to pursue a third consecutive Champions League title, so the board has been looking for versatile players who fit the roster.

According to Foot Mercato, Akliouche, 24, has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain and has even held fruitful conversations with the club's coach, Luis Enrique.

The future of the Frenchman at AS Monaco has hung in the balance since last summer. Without knowing whether he would definitely leave the Stade Louis II, he waited one more season and finally took the step to leave.

Apparently, Akliouche was linked to PSG at the end of this season, but conversations had not moved until now, when he had a chat with the Spanish coach, so now the young player is certain he will join the club.

Akliouche will stand out within the Rouge et Bleu, and his arrival could be as a starting player rather than on the bench, mainly because he can cover the right winger, attacking midfielder, and even offensive interior roles, which Luis Enrique usually demands for this type of profile.

He had a very good trajectory at AS Monaco, especially in the 2024/2025 season and the previous one, where he played 43 matches and scored 7 goals in both seasons. Although he was at times an irregular player, he can adapt well under Luis Enrique's leadership.

The media reports that operations will now move faster, and according to journalist Santi Aouna, PSG sporting director Luis Campos is waiting for the sale of the club's central midfielder, Kang-In Lee, to be completed before confirming the arrival of the Frenchman.

Deprived of starting minutes, Lee has decided to leave PSG after three years to look for a team where he is taken more into account. Given the player's versatility, the candidates did not wait, but the winner appears to be Atletico Madrid, a club the player has said he likes very much, and conversations between the two clubs have already started.

Considered a priority signing, Paris Saint-Germain will have to finalize Maghnes Akliouche's arrival as soon as possible, because they are not the only ones who want him, since other Premier League clubs are also interested in him.
