Ferran Torres and Fabian Ruiz lose the Ligue 1 top-scorer and top-assists badges. PSG stars dethroned after Lille draw.
While he held the Ligue 1 Top Scorer and Top Passer (assists) badges during Lille vs. PSG (2-2) last Friday, PSG will play without them against Monaco this Friday night since Ferran Torres and Fabian Ruiz are no longer at the top of those two standings.
Author of a resounding brace on his Ligue 1 debut at Rennes on Matchday 1, Ferran Torres wore the Ligue 1 Top Scorer badge on his shirt last Friday at Rennes. Fabian Ruiz had the Top Passer badge against Lille thanks to his two assists for his compatriot a few days earlier.
But the two Spanish world champions, although starters this time, were not decisive at Lille and lost their place at the top of those two standings, along with the badge that comes with it. Three Ligue 1 players indeed have 3 goals after two matchdays, one more than Torres: Louis Mafouta (Le Mans), Esteban Lepaul (Rennes) and Florian Thauvin (Lens).
Author of a brace against Rennes on Matchday 2, Louis Mafouta is ahead of Esteban Lepaul in the Top Scorer standings thanks to the criteria of minutes played (153 minutes for the Le Mans player against 180 for the Rennes player), while Thauvin scored all his goals from penalties, which penalises him when separating tied players.

- the one who has provided the most assists
- the one who has scored his goals in the most matches
- the one who has played the fewest minutes to score his goals
- the one belonging to the team that has scored the most points

- the one who has received the fewest yellow cards
Now fifth in the Ligue 1 Top Scorer standings, Ferran Torres is behind Brest's Kamory Doumbia, who has 2 goals and no penalties, like him, but one assist, which plays in his favour. Goalscorers at Lille, Vitinha (10th) and Marquinhos (38th), enter the standings, which will inevitably change a lot in the coming weeks.
On the assists side, PSG midfielder Fabian Ruiz wasn't decisive at Lille, but he's still the co-top assister in Ligue 1 with two assists, tied with new Rennes player Adrien Thomasson. But since the latter was an assister in two matches (and in open play like Ruiz), he leads the Top Passer standings.
