PSG transfer roundup: Bradley Barcola meeting, Maghnes Akliouche close, Lucas Digne role, Renato Sanches exit, and more.

With this summer's FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico nearly at its end, with 102 of the 104 games already played, attention is slowly but surely returning back to PSG and the current summer transfer window.

So, with that all in mind, let's take a look at the latest updates as of today, Friday the 17th of July 2026.

To begin, L'Equipe are reporting that PSG and winger Bradley Barcola are set to meet next week to talk about his future and a potential contract extension. Negotiations between both parties were put on hold due to the World Cup, with France still having one more game, as they take on England in the third place play off on Saturday night at 23:00 CET.

Elsewhere, L'Equipe also report that the club are not planning to sign a right-back this summer. It is said that they are happy with Achraf Hakimi and Warren Zaire-Emery in that position, whilst Senny Mayulu and Joao Neves can also cover there if needbe.

As per the French media outlet, the incoming arrival of Lucas Digne from Aston Villa will "trigger a domino effect". This signing will push Lucas Hernandez to Willian Pacho cover as the left sided central defender, and Lucas Beraldo further forward as midfield depth. The Brazilian had a few good performances in that position towards the end of last season.

To finish off the reports from L'Equipe, they state that a deal to sign Maghnes Akliouche from fellow Ligue 1 side AS Monaco is close, with the winger set to be finalised next week when he returns from the World Cup. Meanwhile, they have also regurgitated the news that PSG are looking to sign Ferran Torres from Barcelona this summer, with the 26-year old seen as the replacement for Goncalo Ramos.

Finally, Fabrizio Romano reports that Renato Sanches has been informed by PSG to find a new club this summer, as he is not part of the club's project. You would be forgiven for forgetting he was even at the club, having spent the last three seasons on loan at Roma, Benfica and Panathinaikos. His last game for the club was all the way back on the third of June 2023.

With just one year remaining on his contract, PSG are unlikely to fetch any sort of substantial fee, nor even close. Best for all parties to just get him off the books at this stage.
