Talented PSG prospect, Dro Fernandez, has been included in the FC27 (also known as FIFA), Future Stars promo, recognising some of the very best young talents in the world of football.
In January of this year, PSG completed the signing of highly rates FC Barcelona youngster and La Masia graduate, Dro Fernandez.
The club paid a little under €10m for his services, and no doubt with future clauses and such, seeing the potential despite not much senior, first team experience by the point he was signed.
It has been a somewhat slow start to life in the French capital for Fernandez, though he did muster over 600 minutes in Ligue 1 in the second half of last season, as Luis Enrique rotated a lot for the UEFA Champions League knockout stages against the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich amongst others.
So far this season, the youngster has played 195 minutes across all competitions, and started the game against Slovan Bratislava - where he played a full 90 - and the clash with Le Mans in Ligue 1 last weekend.
There is no doubt that Fernandez is regarded as a very talented prospect with a lot of potential. He comes from La Masia and is already getting first team minutes for the best team in football. That is already a CV most young players would absolutely dream of.
Owing to his potential, Fernandez has been given a ‘Future Stars’ card on FC27 (formerly known as FIFA), as part of the current promo recognising some of the very best talents in football at this moment in time.
The base rating of the card is 85, and the base stats read as follows; 85 pace, 82 shooting, 85 passing, 88 dribbling, 75 defending and 82 physical. So, just one stat below 82 and zero below 75. A very all rounded card.
Aside from those base stats, Fernandez has also been given 89 vision, 90 ball control, 89 short passing, 88 dribbling and 90 aggression alongside some other very good stats. Overall, a fantastic card, especially at this early stage of the game.
As touched on earlier, we know that Enrique likes to rotate, so there will undoubtedly be more chances for the Spaniard this season. He was perhaps unfortunate at the early, shock Coupe de France exit to Paris FC last season. Another run in the cup could yield further opportunities for him, let's wait and see.
Congrats to Fernandez on what is a great card, and a great compliment to put him alongside all of the other Future Stars. No doubt PSG fans will be itching to use this card.
