Nasser Al-Khelaifi says PSG has entered a 'new dimension' after winning back-to-back Champions League titles. 'The best is yet to come,' the president declared.
In a season review press release titled "The Legend Continues to Be Written," Nasser Al-Khelaifi stated that PSG has entered a new dimension by achieving back-to-back Champions League titles. The PSG president also reiterated his ambition to build a lasting legacy.
Al-Khelaifi is a happy man. On Sunday, at the Champ-de-Mars and then at the Parc des Princes, the PSG president proudly presented the Champions League trophy to the club's supporters. A trophy that the Qatari executive dreamed of lifting when he arrived as club president in 2011, and which he was able to proudly raise twice in the space of a year.
"Lifting the first Champions League in Paris Saint-Germain's history last season will forever be etched in the memory and in the beautiful history of our great club," Al-Khelaifi wrote in a press release.
"The challenge was to reach the summit. The mission was to stay there. But the 2025-2026 season brought PSG into a new dimension: that of institutions that leave a lasting mark on the history of soccer."
"By winning the Champions League for the second consecutive season, PSG achieved an extremely rare feat, rewarding years of work, demanding standards, and long-term vision. The greatest victories are built long before they are won, and the greatest successes rest on the strongest foundations," continues the club president, before thanking all components of the club.
"This success is above all a collective achievement. It belongs to the players, the staff, the club's employees, and to all those who contribute every day, with passion and commitment, to the development of PSG. Not all champions play soccer. So many talents work in the shadows. A collective force carried the club to victory. It also belongs to our supporters - in Paris, in France, and around the world - to all those who proudly wear the Rouge et Bleu colors and bring to life the unique identity of our club."
For the PSG president, this 2025-26 season "will remain a major milestone in our collective history.
