Moussa Sissoko, agent for Ousmane Dembélé, met with Manchester City representatives in Madrid.

Representing several key PSG players, agent Misso Sissoko met with Manchester City's sporting director in Madrid on Wednesday, reigniting speculation about the future of Ousmane Dembélé.

The information was revealed on Wednesday evening by Marcos Benito, a Spanish journalist from the program El Chiringuito, before being confirmed on Thursday by the Catalan sports daily Sport, with photo and video evidence. Wednesday, on the sidelines of Manchester City's 3-0 loss to Real Madrid at the Bernabéu, the English club's sporting director met with influential agent Moussa Sissoko.

At PSG, Moussa Sissoko represents Désiré Doué, Bradley Barcola, and Ousmane Dembélé (in addition to Randal Kolo Muani, currently on loan to Tottenham). So naturally, when he is photographed or filmed in a Madrid hotel in the company of Hugo Viana, City's Portuguese sporting director, the speculation machine goes into overdrive.

According to Sport, Sissoko did not run into the English club's executive by chance, and the two men reportedly discussed the case of the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner, whose contract with PSG expires in 2028.

PSG and Dembélé's agent have already discussed an extension in recent months, but according to leaks from the French press, nothing is very far along at the moment due to a disagreement between what Dembélé is asking for and what PSG is offering.

Note, however, that while it is entirely credible that Moussa Sissoko is sounding out clubs like Manchester City for Dembélé, he could also very well have discussed other players with the English club, such as Bradley Barcola, who still hasn't extended his contract, or simply discussed with Hugo Viana the situation of Rayan Cherki, another player he represents, signed with City last summer.

For the moment, the only fact is that Moussa Sissoko met with Hugo Viana at a Madrid hotel on Wednesday. As for the rest, it is only speculation at this stage, and it should be remembered that the rivalry between PSG's Qatari leadership and City's Emirati leadership is real, even though Gianluigi Donnarumma moved from one club to the other last summer.

A starter against Chelsea on Wednesday evening, Ousmane Dembélé played 69 minutes, enough time for him to score a fantastic goal, the 2-1, worthy of his Ballon d'Or status.
