Inspectorate probes workload and management issues at PSG's renowned academy amidst employee distress and internal investigations.

Following reports of distress among many employees at the Paris Saint-Germain training center, the labor inspectorate has visited the PSG Campus.

PSG boasts one of the best training academies in France, and even the world. But in recent weeks, reports have emerged of distress among some employees and work stoppages.

According to information from L'Equipe, the labor inspectorate was notified. It visited the PSG Campus at the end of October, and the inspector reportedly identified a workload that does not comply with standards and a management problem.

"At the same time, the club's Social and Economic Committee also launched an internal investigation. Several employees of the training and pre-training center from the European champion club were interviewed, and other hearings are still scheduled for the coming days. The inspectorate and the CSE are seeking to corroborate the allegations of harassment and distress reported by some staff members," the sports daily reports.

Contacted by L'Equipe, PSG confirmed the visit from the labor inspectorate and the CSE investigation.

"We have taken note of the observations made, and we will respond to them. The club is ensuring that the investigation proceeds under the best possible conditions and with respect for all parties. As the investigation is ongoing, we cannot comment at this stage. For several seasons, continuous work on well-being and prevention has been carried out. The club remains attentive to these issues," PSG explained to the cited outlet.
