One PSG defender shines in Ligue 1's Team of the Week after a crucial win, dominating duels and contributing offensively.

On Saturday night, PSG defeated Le Havre in the 24th round of Ligue 1 (0-1). Only one of its players appears in the team of the week.

Ligue 1 leader PSG took advantage of RC Lens' misstep at Strasbourg to take a four-point lead at the top of the championship, thanks to its victory at Le Havre with a goal from Bradley Barcola. During this match, Luis Enrique decided to start Illia Zabarnyi in central defense alongside Willian Pacho. And the Ukrainian international very certainly played his best match since arriving at PSG.

The PSG No. 6 was solid from start to finish, whether in duels or in his positioning, and he also contributed offensively with forward passes, including the one leading to Ibrahim Mbaye's chance and then the penalty missed by Desire Doue.

The former Bournemouth player is the only PSG player to appear in the Ligue 1 team for matchday 24, as selected by L'Equipe.

In the latter, he is placed in a three-man defense with Moustapha Mbow (Paris FC) and Nathan Ngoy (Lille). Paris FC, Marseille, Lens, and Brest are the most represented teams in this team of the week, with two players each.

Ligue 1's matchday 24 team of the week, per L'Equipe: Coudert (Brest) – Abdulhamid (Lens), Zabarnyi (PSG), Ngoy (Lille), Mbow (Paris FC), Paixao (Marseille) – Munetsi (Paris FC), Sanagare (Lens), Magnetti (Brest) – Aubameyang (Marseille), Dieng (Lorient).
