PSG was crowned UEFA Champions League champion for the first time in its history last Saturday, May 31, defeating Inter Milan in Munich by 5-0.
Following this historic achievement, Paris Saint-Germain and its board are already thinking about the coming months, because winning Europe’s top competition has opened the door for them to compete for two other international titles.
As we know, the Champions League winner faces the Europa League winner at the start of each European season, and this time, the protagonists of the UEFA Super Cup will be PSG and Tottenham Hotspur.
On August 13, Parisians and Londoners will compete for this historic European trophy. And so, in a matter of months, the team led by Luis Enrique will have the opportunity to expand its continental honors and go from having two titles to three.
Additionally, the Parc des Princes-based squad will first compete in the 2025 Club World Cup, beginning their journey on June 15 when they face Atlético Madrid in the group stage.
If the Parisians reach the final of this tournament, they would finish their duties on July 13, resting exactly one month before facing Tottenham for the European Super Cup.
But it doesn’t end there, as with the Ligue 1 and Champions League campaigns underway, Paris Saint-Germain will also participate in the next Intercontinental Cup, formerly known as the Club World Cup.
Although in this competition they will only play the final due to the tournament’s format, it is yet another international title up for grabs.
If PSG wins all the competitions it participates in during the 2025-26 season, the Parisians could take home up to six titles (Ligue 1, Coupe de France, Trophée des Champions, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Champions League, and Intercontinental Cup).
Could the "sextuple" be Paris Saint-Germain’s next major objective?
