PSG's star forward's future is a hot topic. Learn if Arsenal and other clubs stand a chance at signing him next season.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has shown, in the PSG jersey, that he is indeed a world-class player. So, inevitably, several European clubs are circling around the Georgian international.
Paris Saint-Germain has sometimes badly misfired on its most expensive acquisitions. But the 80 million euros Nasser Al-Khelaifi shelled out in January 2025 to Napoli to bring in Kvaratskhelia, 25, is probably one of the best investments in the history of the French capital club.
The forward has proven he does not crack under the pressure of this transfer, and if PSG won the Champions League last year, it also owes a great deal to the Georgian player's performances.
This season, Kvaratskhelia is doing it again, and inevitably, Premier League clubs are interested in the Parisian player, to the point of even hoping to bring him in as early as next season, even though he still has three years left on his contract with the European champions. The Athletic's David Ornstein calmed everyone down, and notably Arsenal, whose name is linked to Kvaratskhelia.
In a podcast, the English journalist admits that signing Kvaratskhelia would be an excellent idea. However, he quickly added that the Georgian player will not be granted an exit pass in the next transfer window, and, above all, the 25-year-old international winger does not really want to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
"Everyone loves Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but I expect him to stay at PSG. He seems extremely happy there, and they are certainly extremely happy with him. I don't think Arsenal or anyone else has a chance at the moment," warned David Ornstein, who confirms what everyone thinks on the Parisian side.
Note that Kvaratskhelia's performances have driven up his price, with the Georgian player now valued at 90 million euros. A price that already allows sorting through the list of clubs that could afford the Parisian forward.
Especially if at the end of the season, PSG wins a second Champions League. The only problem for Kvaratskhelia is that Georgia will not play in the World Cup, which definitely prevents him from being in the race for the Ballon d'Or.
