With an absolutely gargantuan UEFA Champions League clash on the horizon, PSG have been given a massive boost in training on Monday morning

Tomorrow evening, PSG will host Bayern Munich in the first leg of the mouth watering UEFA Champions League semi final clash between who many people believe are the best two sides in the world.

However, the visitors are very much hamstrung by injuries. Last week, it was confirmed that Serge Gnabry is ruled out for the rest of the season and the World Cup. They will also be without talented youngsters Lennart Karl and Tom Bischof, whilst veteran utility player Raphael Guerreiro has also been ruled of this game (and the second leg).

Fortunately, there is no such problem for PSG. In the win over Angers on Saturday, we saw Nuno Mendes return from injury to play a part in the second half, and will be in contention to start tomorrow night.

The only senior player missing from Saturday was Vitinha. However, the Portuguese international resumed full training with the team today, Monday the 27th of April and is set to be in contention for the starting XI against Bayern.

Aside from 18-year old Quentin Ndjantou, who scored in a Ligue 1 win over Metz in December, Luis Enrique is set to have a full squad available for the visit of Vincent Kompany's side.

Now, it is absolutely crucial that the team use this to their advantage. Bayern are going to be running on bare bones. The only senior forward they will have on the bench is Nicolas Jackson.

Meanwhile, Enrique will have the likes of Bradley Barcola, Goncalo Ramos, Kang-in Lee and Ibrahim Mbaye on the bench. So, as long as the team can be competitive during the game, the closing stages could make all of the difference.

We will have to see what changes in the second leg. As touched on earlier, Gnabry and Guerreiro will definitely not be available. It will be more touch and go for Bischof and Karl, who were said to have been close for the first leg. Bayern have already won the Bundesliga, so they can rotate as much as they want against Heidenheim between the two legs.

That said, the fact that PSG have gone six points clear is huge. Although the title is not mathematically won yet, the six point buffer and superior goal difference with just four games left makes it surely insurmountable. So, you'd imagine that Enrique will rotate a fair bit at home to Lorient on Saturday afternoon. Let's see.
