PSG is reportedly targeting a versatile midfielder from Real Madrid, who could be available for €50 million.

Linked since last January to Enzo Fernandez, PSG reportedly has another international midfielder in its sights according to the latest reports from Spain -- a certain Eduardo Camavinga, who is far from an undisputed starter at Real Madrid.

With Vitinha, Joao Neves, Fabian Ruiz, Warren Zaire-Emery, Senny Mayulu, and, more recently, Dro Fernandez, PSG boasts a deep, creative, and fairly young midfield -- with the exception of Fabian Ruiz, who turns 30 on Friday. But since last January, PSG has been linked to the profiles of midfielders, starting with Enzo Fernandez.

The Argentine world champion is under contract at Chelsea until 2032, but has made numerous media appearances in recent weeks to signal that he would not be opposed to moving on after the World Cup. PSG has been cited as a possible destination, as has Real Madrid, and Fernandez himself indicated this week that he could see himself living in Madrid.

PSG Eyes Camavinga, Real Madrid Open to a Sale

Alongside this interest in Enzo Fernandez -- a divisive figure who lacks unanimous support among Paris fans -- PSG has been linked since Wednesday evening to Eduardo Camavinga, the French international at Real Madrid. A player PSG had already been pursuing before his move from Rennes to Madrid, and who remains in the Paris club's sights according to AS.

An interest to be taken seriously, as, according to information available to this outlet, PSG has already met with its representatives a few months ago. Eduardo Camavinga is not in a difficult situation at Real Madrid, but he is far from an undisputed starter, and Alvaro Arbeloa currently prefers young Thiago Pitarch over him in midfield.

Capable of playing in multiple positions -- which is undoubtedly appealing to Luis Enrique -- the 23-year-old left-footed midfielder ranks 11th in playing time at Real Madrid this season, but has started only 41% of La Liga matches, and 42% of Champions League matches. "His versatility is both a strength and a weakness: he has played as a defensive midfielder, central midfielder, inverted right winger, inverted left winger, and fullback -- without ever establishing himself as the 'organizer' he believes he can be," AS explains.

Premier League Clubs Also Interested in Camavinga

According to the Madrid-based newspaper, Camavinga is dissatisfied with his club situation and is questioning his future, even though no definitive decision has been made by either the player or Real Madrid. Two weeks ago, however, transfer journalist Matteo Moretto was already reporting a possible summer departure for Camavinga and explained that Real Madrid could listen to offers starting at 50 million euros.

The French international's profile is of interest not only to PSG but also to several Premier League clubs, according to Moretto and AS. Everything, therefore, remains very open at this stage, but the Camavinga file will be one to follow closely in the coming months. French, young but experienced, versatile -- Camavinga checks many boxes for the new Paris project.
