PSG is reportedly interested in Aston Villa's rising star, Morgan Rogers, joining elite Premier League clubs in the race.

Head coach Luis Enrique has had his eye on Morgan Rogers for more than a year, and PSG is now serious about entering the race to sign him this summer, per reports.

With its four top-level offensive players, PSG is the fear of all of Europe. But Enrique understands it well; he will need some fresh players across the pitch next season to strengthen the squad and avoid juggling absences, injuries, and fatigue.

This year, PSG has pushed things to the limit, and while the squad is nearly fully fit in this final stretch, it could have cost them dearly in the middle of the season.

In the attacking midfield position, even if Ousmane Dembele's versatility works wonders, the Spanish coach has long dreamed of a true playmaker to unsettle defenses and add a new dimension to his system -- while also possessing the technical level to fit seamlessly into his setup.

Rogers, 23, matches that profile. The Aston Villa attacking midfielder had a complicated start to his career, with spells in the lower divisions, before exploding at Villa, where he signed for just 9 million euros in 2024.

Since his arrival, the Englishman has strung together standout performances and continues to improve. According to The Telegraph, despite his long-term contract running until 2031, Aston Villa would not turn down an offer approaching 100 million euros this summer.

And that figure could well be reached, as Chelsea, PSG, Manchester United, and Arsenal all dream of signing him. A year ago, Rogers' value was half of what it is now. But the player has since earned his place in the England national team, where he is expected to start at the World Cup -- to the point of pushing Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham to the bench.

Rogers still has significant room to grow and the capacity to meet the game's physical demands. The Parisian club saw him in action during last season's Champions League quarterfinal against the Birmingham club. And since then, Enrique has been keeping a close eye on the English international.
