PSG has been linked with four midfielders ahead of the summer transfer window: Manu Kone, Ayyoub Bouaddi, Carlos Baleba, and Mateus Fernandes.

Concerned with strengthening his midfield during the summer transfer window, PSG coach Luis Enrique has validated a list of six names. Four profiles stand out.

No time to rest for Paris Saint-Germain. Well on its way to securing yet another Ligue 1 French championship title, they will have to work hard in the Champions League semifinal return leg, after its narrow first-leg victory over Bayern Munich (5-4).

In these conditions, it is difficult to find time to really think about the summer transfer window that is fast approaching.

Even though some players have already extended their contracts in the French capital, the futures of several others remain uncertain. Fabian Ruiz, for example.

Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola remain more or less uncertain as well. At the same time, it will also be necessary to manage other cases, such as Vitinha, who is reportedly in Real Madrid's sights. To bring fresh blood to the important sector that is the midfield, Enrique has several XXL leads.

Last night, PSG Inside-Actus took stock of PSG's recruitment campaign for the midfield. In all likelihood, Enrique would like to recruit one player in this sector this summer. At least four names are in the running. They are Manu Kone (AS Roma), Ayyoub Bouaddi (Lille), Carlos Baleba (Brighton), and Mateus Fernandes (West Ham).

The two most accessible elements are perhaps the Portuguese and the Cameroonian. Thus, the first mentioned is the most accessible, financially speaking ($38 million). The second is the one whose contract expires the soonest (2028).

Paradoxically, the most advanced case may be that of Bouaddi, who has reportedly already given his agreement to PSG. It remains to do the same with the Lille management, which is determined to get a very big check this summer.
