PSG is reportedly eyeing Lamine Yamal, ready to exploit Barcelona's Champions League woes.

PSG wants to exploit the psychological impact of FC Barcelona's elimination from the Champions League to pursue Lamine Yamal again. The French capital club is ready to spend big to secure his services.

To a close approximation, Yamal, 18, generates unanimity among football observers. He is already one of those who attract spectators, as Lionel Messi and other legends of this sport did before him.

And it is not only thanks to his 23 goals and 18 assists in 44 appearances this season, but also his movements on the field, his desire to break the rhythm with a dribble or a pass out of nowhere, and his fire make him a special player.

And PSG understood that a long time ago. Joan Laporta had already confirmed that Nasser Al-Khelaifi had offered 250 million euros to recruit him when he was only 17 years old.

Now an essential player for FC Barcelona, he is once again attracting the attention of the Parisian board, which hopes to play on the Blaugranas' elimination from the Champions League to convince him.

According to El Nacional, PSG is discreetly advancing its pieces in an attempt to pursue a new approach regarding Yamal. Jorge Mendes, the player's agent, is well aware of the Parisian intentions for his protege and knows that the reigning European champion will persevere, summer after summer, to secure his services.

For now, the 18-year-old prodigy still has doubts about the relevance of a transfer to PSG for his personal ambitions, but for its part, the Parisian club is ready to pay a colossal sum to convince him and Barca.

In Paris, the belief is that attrition is the best weapon to complete this transfer. The Parisian leadership tends to believe that each Barcelona season that does not end with a Champions League victory increases the risk of Yamal pushing for his departure. If that happens, PSG will stand ready to offer him a golden bridge, just as was done with Neymar in 2017.
